Still NOT in Recession?

Some have commented that I'm too upbeat, that after all we are starting the next depression. The sick thing is that we just barely will be able to call this massive down turn a "Recession." 

Lets quick review:

Definition of Recession: "...two consecutive quarters [6 months] of negative economic growth as measured by a country's gross domestic product (GDP)."

(Note that 3 months is a Quarter so 6 months is the count)

Our US Current GDP: -6.40 % (Month 5  in a possible recession.)

Ya bad things happened and the market OVER reacted. Not to mention the TAX and SPEND of the government. Trillions later, and btw almost no real consumer stimulus as of today. Sure we have given so much to failing banks and car companies, oh and lets not forget the bailout of government sponsored housing. (doesn't that seem like double dipping, anyhow) The future of the GDP seems to be going positive... Imagine that... Businesses have failed in the past, so we chose to prolonged the agony and will have low GDP, little economic growth, and be on the verge of a real depression for the next 100 years but hey what do you expect. We live in an evil capitalist society.

I think some History in the classroom might be helpful. I smell a government program: "No child shall forget." Maybe we will not repeat this.

Another Day

American Confidence needs to remain high. The best way to do this is to allow the free market to correct it self. Government "bail out" is the number One best way to destroy the American spirit. The most powerful way to hurt the economy. When a business is failing let it fail. This is the "wild" of the free market. As in the animal world there are those who win and there are those who lose it is the circle of life.  That is almost waxing green better watch that... Anyhow, lets get back to work our selves. Go back to school if need be! Get a better job! Get on with life and the pursuit of happiness.

Obama Not a citizen?

How lame is this, After the election, we get the news from the courts that Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States. That he has a "certificate of live birth" from Hawaii, Yet we don't have an actual birth certificate! It seems also that anyone can get a "certificate of live birth" from Hawaii. There are many who have been caught with such documents and clearly they were not born in Hawaii.

I'll have to look this one up, but does that mean that we have Biden as president?

The sky is falling...

I'm getting tired of the constant MSM telling me that I'm one paycheck from being homeless. That I should look to the government for a bail out. That My house is worthless. I'm about to be layed off. That Evil GM should never be in this situation and we need to insure that the 72 dollar an hour line worker keeps his job.  Wait I don't make that much... 

The sky is not falling, and consumer sales only dipped a bit.

We will NEVER be the Socalist States of America...

I have some hope, Maybe electing a black liberal president will end the stupid political correctness we have been enduring. Maybe, black people will stop living in the past and join the struggle to make a better live for themselves. Maybe Illegal Mexicans will become US Citizens and they too melt in to the melding pot that is this great people. Maybe all the various factions of separatism will die and join with us and become united as we should. As in the past, United we stand divided we fall. 

I stand as a true American, No mater what, I Love Freedom. I pray to God above, as I have in the past, that my president will make good decisions. I will perform what ever service I can to progress the cause of freedom And fight socialism and Communism from infiltrating this land that I love. 

I take courage that we have many in America who will fight with me to make this land a better place. Standing up for what is right and resist national measures that would harm our freedom.

Still NOT in Recession!

As of today, The GDP for the first time since the September 11th Attacks has gone Negative. uh... We need 6 months of Negative numbers to officially be in a Recession. Still NOT in Recession.

It happened again, Gloom and Doom talk. That we have been in a recession for months. 
Look for your self! Stop listening to the Idiots in the Main Stream Media. When I originally posted  "Woe is me, I'm stuck in the 2008 Recession...." on September 5th 2008, we had 3.24 % Growth!

Sure, We have seen some slowing, however, Today we are still GROWING at 2.8%!!!

Democrats at Fault? Are you Kidding?

I know some of you will say that this is old news, but it was so good, I couldn't help it.  

I remember reading Enders Game and really liking Orson Scott Card's style of writing, So Cheers for a known Democrat who has so many views I disagree with... he calls it so correct in this published article!
